The developer of One Millennium Bridge envisaged the project as a sustainable, next-generation riverside workspace, featuring spectacular terraces and exceptional on-site amenities.

A key design criterion for the client was to free up roof space which meant that the building main plant was relocated to the basement and an innovative and energy-efficient heat recovery strategy was designed to reduce the rooftop plant’s footprint, that maximizes the available space for rooftop gardens. GBE was entrusted with the design development of this innovative and energy-efficient approach.
