Project Description:
Working for Wates Construction, refurbishment of an existing grade II listed Westminster office building.

The building consists of 6 above ground storeys and 1 basement, and is one of the main House of Lords office buildings.

Our scope of works consists of the mechanical ‘wet’ systems and associated plant, both shell and core and final fit out.

The key challenges on the project consist of installing new plantrooms and risers within the constricted space offered by a 19th century building and the associated logistics.

The original client design did not fit so GBE were engaged to re-design/ co-ordinate the basement to enable both ours and the other services trades to fit.
